Our Programs

Infants (8 weeks-1 year)

In a child’s early years, each day is important! At Neighborhood Kids, infants are cared for in a nurturing and loving environment.

We implement a daily schedule of indoor and outdoor activities where your child will develop their hand-eye coordination, as well as fine and gross motor skills. This is all accomplished through playtime activities, like grasping objects, sitting, crawling, and eventually walking.

Toddlers (1 Year - 2 Years)

Toddlers are active explorers. They eagerly try new things and use materials in different ways. That’s why we encourage our toddlers to develop a wide variety of skills:

  • Intellectual
  • Social & Emotional
  • Fine Motor
  • Gross Motor
  • Language
  • Independence

We implement a daily schedule for each child according to their development level. That’s why we offer different centers that allow children to move freely and explore, while constantly being supervised by the teacher.

Two Years (2 Years - 3 Years)

This classroom is filled with an abundance of energy and excitement! Our program for two and three-year-olds provides an environment that fosters cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development. The daily curriculum is designed to allow children to experiment and explore in many areas, including:

  • Creative Activities
  • Dramatic Play
  • Sensorimotor Skills
  • The Community
  • Their Environment

The ABEKA program prepares each child for preschool, offering a pre-reading and writing, phonemic awareness through songs. Your children will be introduced to numbers, colors, and shapes, with the opportunity to express their creativity through art, music, and movement.

Preschoolers (3 Years – 4 Years)

At this stage, preschoolers are exploring everything and anything around them. They gain more self-esteem and are ready to take on the world. Children are encouraged to develop skills in self-direction, and the ability to make choices and decisions. We offer independent exploration, structured activities, and a hands-on learning approach.

At this stage, children will work on early literacy preparing them for Pre-K. Letter and number recognition are just one of the learning areas. Preschoolers enjoy spending time with other children their own age and becoming involved in group activities, which is why we strive to help build their confidence in becoming problem-solvers and lifelong learners.

Pre-Kindergarten (4 Years – 5 Years)

Our Pre-Kindergarten and VPK program are designed to help students become familiar with the structure and format of a kindergarten school day. At this age, children approach the world with curiosity and actively enter into conversations to discuss ideas, thoughts, and questions.

This program will prepare children by developing their learning in many different areas:

  • Language
  • Math
  • Reasoning
  • Social Skills
  • Emotional Skills

We follow the guidelines provided by Florida VPK standards. We believe that with teachers and parents working together, the transition to kindergarten will be smooth and successful!

Summer Camp (5 Years – 8 Years)

We want to make summers safe and fun! Our summer camp begins June 1 and runs through August 7 at a rate of $200 weekly, or a $100 activity fee for individual sessions. This covers all in-house field trips, special visitors, bounce houses, water day activities, sports activities, cooking activities, and arts and crafts.

Each week of our summer camp program is organized by themes and fun experiences your kids will enjoy every day! Reach out to our team to learn more, or to register today.
